Where are Nutcrackers made?

There are over 9,000 nutcrackers in the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum, and they come from 50 different countries. Most of the wooden toy soldier nutcrackers come from Germany. Most of the carved wooden nutcrackers come from the Tyrolean region of Europe, which is southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and northern Italy. England is well known for their brass nutcrackers, and the United States for their cast iron mechanical and figural nutcrackers.

We are showing nutcrackers from 16 different countries. Can you find these countries on a world map? Print it out and color the countries featured on this page.
