About the Judging

Nutcrackers entered will be judged based on the following nutcracking device characteristics...

2. Materials: Are they suitable for design and durable for use? 20 pts

3. Execution: Is it well constructed and will it withstand the rigors of nutcracking. 20 pts

4. Performance: Is it safe to use and does it successfully crack a nut? 30 pts

Each characteristic has a point value and the highest total points possible in judging is 100 points.
